PROJECT : HAVRN
What more can a music artist do with their brand and their image? I wanted to find out with HAVRN, a new metal band I created that looks at classical renaissance paintings and blends them with modern layout, design and concepts.

MORE THAN JUST MUSIC.
I found inspiration for this project from an another already existing metal band from Norway, a band called Mirar. The duo use Renaissance style artwork for their brand aesthetic but do not use any type or other feature to create their own unique visual style.

For this project I wanted to showcase an idea I had been thinking about for a while before. I love history and the feel of Renaissance paintings. I used modern typography, structure and design styles to create a brand that feels like it belongs within the metal music scene.
